Chasing my Dream

      To live my dream is Truly fore filling.  To try rebuilding that dream after personal and professional struggles is almost impossible.  Add to that, my chosen profession / career field has suffered major losses its self.  Now at an older age, I find myself fighting hard to get back to where I rightfully should be today.  

      No one ever said that life is ease, but DAM !  Why does it have to be so hard.  Am I the only one...?  No, certainly not.  However, I have always held myself to a much higher standard than anyone else.  Failure has never been an option for me.  So, I am doing whatever it takes to realize my dreams once again in rebuilding my Property Management business.

      The Market is tough.  However, it is rebuilding and growing steadily.  I am moving fast to seize the opportunities that lay in front of me now.  Sure, I can get a job just for the sake of having a job.  However, I am sick and tired of that old dead end revolving door.  I want the career that I am passionate about.  Property Management is something near and dear to me for many reasons including providing affordable housing to low income families and also a few special projects in the works currently.  I am chasing my dreams and I am not allowing anything or anyone to stop me or stand in my way.  First step, I restarting my career by seeking a Leasing Consultant job.  Then...  We'll see as time tells the story...

Renewed Hope

      

      Well, since coming back to my home state of Maryland in order to regroup, things has been going pretty smooth with only minor bumps.  I am only expected to be here for a very brief time then I have plans to start my new life in The "Land of Enchantment" in the summertime.  

      My kids missed home (at least what THEY think of as home anyway), my mother wanted to see me and I also had a chance to iron out a few wrinkles.  I just finished a Maryland Real Estate course with Long and Foster and I passed with no problem at all, Thanks to an angel in the form of a Little Blue Smurf (Actual TRUE Story).  Anyway, My 100% Full Focus is now on moving to Albuquerque where I expect a whole new way of life.  I can't wait !  

     

      I have taken steps to clear my credit and I am now chasing my dreams : to "Once Again" Own my own Property Management business where I can provide Affordable Housing to families and hire people "Without Judgement", and get them back to work.  I now have Renewed Hope that I still have a bright future ahead of me.  With that being said, I am glad that I had a chance to come back to Maryland just 1 last time but this place has grossly changed and it is Definitely NOT for me.  I will always be a Natural Born Maryland Native.  However, it is time for the next chapter of my life so...  Good Bye Maryland... and HELLO :

My Personal Principals

      When I was young, I learned a lot of HARD LESSONS !  I have had a lot of dirty shit happen to me.  I was just an innocent young Fox.  I had a lot of negative people in my life and I always stayed in trouble or was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.  

      Because of all the hard lessons that I learned in life, I developed a FIRM set of personal rules that I live by.  I also never allow anyone to get "Too Close" to me.  My father always told me : Those who are closest to you, are the ones who will hurt you the most.  He was so wise !  True to those words of warning...  EVERYONE who I EVER allowed "IN" to my life has always lied to me, stabbed me in my back, turned on me and hurt me.  

      From this...  Here are my PERSONAL RULES, that I "FIRMLY" live by... : 

1. I Never "EVER" Lend money to anyone, friend, foe or family member.  NO ONE PERIOD. 

2. Never mix business and personal affairs.  

3. Never call people my "Friend", unless they show it, prove it or earn that title. 

4. Never bring a person to the place I live.  Personal security and self preservation is number 1.  

5. Never lend something to someone.  Chances are I will never get it back in the same condition or even if I get it back at all.  

6. Never offer to do anything for anyone.  If asked for assistance, doubt everything told to me and believe even less.  

7. D.T.A. : Don't Trust Anyone and trust a FEMALE even less.  Never trust anyone who says : "TRUST ME" !  

8. Keep my personal opinions and advice to myself unless asked for it first.  

9. Kindness to those who deserve it, NOT wasted on Ingrates.  

10. When I meet someone, Never reveal my true name to them.  I could be talking to a psycho.  

11. Never give my REAL Phone number to anyone.  Always use my Google Voice number, a relay number or a "dummy" number. 

12. I don't tell my troubles to anyone unless I am certain that they are interested in hearing them.  

13. Maintain my privacy and personal security.  

14. When in someone else's home or space, show then respect or leave.  

15.  Do NOT kill or harm animals unless I am attacked.  

16. Be a bother to NO ONE.  If someone bothers me, ask them to stop immediately.  If they don't or refuse, DESTROY THEM !  

17. Never touch ANYTHING that does NOT belong to me.  

18. Never inquire who owns something. Just know it is NOT MINE ! 

19. Never openly discuss my Religious or Political beliefs with anyone other than my chosen mate.  My private views and opinions are just that : "PRIVATE".  

20. Never give false statements about anyone or anything.  If I had to lie about something, just don't answer at all.  I'ts better to have a closed clean mouth, than an open mouth FULL OF SHIT !

21. No longer put other's interests before my own.  They would NOT do the same for me.  

22. If all else fails, DO WHAT's BEST FOR "ME" !

Confession : My Secret Addiction...

      I have a confession...  I have an addiction.  A serious one !  I have always been addicted to NEW Technology.  In fact... I have a LOT of "Hot Tech", both past and present.  I pretty much am Best Buy, Walmart, Apple, Google and Amazon all wrapped up into one !

Deep Depression

      I have been back here in Maryland for a month now.  This is certainly "NOT" the place I want to be nor is this a place that I ever wanted to return too.  The things we parents do to keep our kids happy...  Anyway, I have been using my time here in Maryland very wisely.  I have been putting a lot of energy into rebuilding myself and improving who I am.  

      However..., since coming back to Maryland, I have found that I have fallen into a "Funk".  I have been very depressed.  I have NOT been my normal Foxy Self at all.  The only things that I see, hear and feel, are all the reasons why I left this place to begin with.  I haven't even been to the gym.  I've just been out of sync with my normal self.  So, I have turned to my first love..., MUSIC !  Anyone who knows me can say I am a SUPER HUGH MUSIC LOVER !  She have been my first, only and 1 TRUE Life Long Lover.  She has been slowly picking me up, restoring my Foxy Spirit and making me whole again.  People have claimed to care for me but music (and GOD) never fails me.  I always keep my religious beliefs private but believe me, The Lord above also watches over me as well.  If you don't believe, you need to GET A CLUE ! 

      Anyway, I am trying to stay positive.  I do everything for my kids happiness.  Even sacrifice my own happiness.  Hey, that's what we parents do...  I just wonder, how much more I can take before I crack.  I need to get out more, now that the weather is warming up (Thank GOD) !

We The People...

      Currently in this country our National Debt (at time of blog writing) is : $17,511,659,595,323.99.  Jobs are tough to get.  The government can't seem to pull it's head out of it's own ass.  And good American citizens are being punished due to poor management and childish foolishness.  Please keep in mind that the government is made up of grown adult men and women, NOT CHILDREN (supposedly...).  

      With this much out of control growing debt and grief, doesn't it make much more "Cent$" to simply, cut spending and devote more money to fresh business start ups ?  This would in turn create more taxable jobs to keep the country moving forward and keep the unemployment rates down !  Even more..., make it easier for Americans to get this money by removing a lot of the red tape, hoops to jump through and credit qualification crap !  

      Last time I checked, The Government was "Supposed" to be "By the people and FOR THE PEOPLE".  Maybe our current politicians have forgotten that.  It would be nice to be able to apply for a business start-up loan, with the SBA backing me up, and simply : GET THE MONEY !  Start my business, hire good Americans and do my part in making a REAL DIFFERENCE in this country.  The REAL Strength and Muscle of this country is still "We The People" !  

      We are soon approaching an election season.  A good Business Minded Republican President would know these things.  Maybe it's time someone notices these things and pointed them out.  Oh wait, I just did...

Marriage... PART 2 NEW VIEWS !

      

      I once did a blog entry entitled "MARRIAGE".  In this entry, I actually aired my very strong and negative views on marriage its self.  Well, life is so short and I have had quite a change of heart on this sensitive subject matter since then... 

      The fact is...  All of my life, up until the recent past (as I have re-entered the dating scene), I was bitter, full of fear and very mistrusting (being more Realistic than Optimistic)...  I have witnessed so many broken and tough marriages in my lifetime.  I myself have had my own woes and growing pains...  It was a combination of things that lead me to have a lifelong negative view of Marriage.  I recently have taken another look at this subject matter with a whole new outlook...  

      I now believe that 2 people really need to seriously take a hard look at each other "BEFORE" entering into such a serious commitment.  Not that you shouldn't...  It's just that, people these days always RUSH into such a serious life long agreement without truly evaluation the level of loyalty, devotion and commitment involved.  I myself have done many YouTube videos on "Dating".  I myself know how important it is to evaluate a potential partner in life.  You really have to know exactly what you want (and equally what you don't) and realize that marriage its self is all about : COMPROMISE !  Until you realize that fact, I would not advise anyone to enter into any binding agreement. 

      Having said that...  I now officially retract my old negative statements about marriage.  I in fact "DO" want to get married in the future.  I know that it will NOT be easy but I am certainly willing to take that chance.  I want happiness shared with someone special.  Whom ever that is will remain to be seen in the future...?  Here are 2 things that I "DO" know : 1. I know what I want in a potential future wife.  I know "WHO" I am looking for...  2. I am willing to compromise (that is what marriage is all about, right?).  There is NO such thing as perfection, However...  I ACTUALLY Have a "List of Wife Qualifications".  I'm NOT kidding on that...  I hope to someday have a "Traditional" Church wedding and a future wife who shares my views and values on family, life and togetherness.  I "AM" looking for "HER".  Where is she ?  I know that "She" is out there somewhere.  I "AM" looking for "HER"...

Marriage…

      I did it ONCE…  I swore that I would ONLY EVER DO IT ONCE (If ever at all) !  I did the UNthinkable…  I foolishly got married when I was just 22 years young.  I did it for absolutely all the wrong reasons and certainly with the wrong person.  Still, I was very happy to be a married and settled man !  

      NOW, I am 38 and not wanting to be “LEGALLY BINNED"  to another human being.  I no longer know if “True Love” really exist, nor do I think I am capable of fully loving someone 100% due to my past marital scars that is still affecting me and always will.  The thing is…  There is someone that I think highly of, who is special to me and I do not know if I can give my all to this person (or anyone else for that matter).  This person would definitely LOVE the idea of Marriage as I also "once did", but not anymore.  My question is : Can 2 people stay together and remain a couple without the “PUSH” for marriage ?  Can 2 people remain lovers, best friends or Boy / Girl friend without the “NEED” or “FEEL” to become Legally Attached to each other ?  Can to people just be together and enjoy each other without the PRESSURES to be or look “Official” by society’s eyes ?

      I am definitely not wanting to ever get myself back into a “Legal Attachment” ever again in life.  I just hope that a good woman can accept this and just love me anyway !  If not, then I shall remain alone forever.  I do NOT want to be alone, but I may have no other choice.  I believe that everyone deserves to be loved and appreciated.  I certainly want to be loved and not grow old alone.  So, I would like to have a “Companion” in life but I just don’t think marriage will work for me ever again especially since I have a lot of deep emotional wounds and scars from my prior marriage.  I just can never go through that hell and torment ever again or allow myself to be subjected to that mindset and vulnerability.  DIVORCE…  The only thing wrong with it, is the MARRIAGE !
